My Professional Statement
I am specializing in Hawaii residential and commercial real estate. My professional goal is to apply my knowledge and efforts in providing outstanding service and satisfaction to my clients. My objective is to help people, buyers or sellers, investors or developers, to implement the dream that Hawaii has to offer. I am willing to dedicate all my time, my loyalty and efforts in assisting to my clients in finding the best possible investment solution either for the first time home buyers or multi-million investors. In my practice I follow the Code of Ethics and the priorities of my client's needs are the most important guide in my professional career and life.
My Professional Interests
My professional interests are focused in the providing the best possible service to buyers and sellers in all residential and commercial real estate transactions. The fields of the real estate which are the most interesting and excited for me are:

My favorite
I was born and raised in Stavropol City, a city which is located in the Southern part of Russia in the historical part of the region well known as the North Caucasus, the territory geographically located between Europe and Asia. Stavropol City is very famous place around the World because Mikhail Sergeyevich Gorbachev, the first Soviet President, was working in the Stavropol Krai as a First Communist Party Secretary of the Stavropol Kraikom. The city is located in between the Black and Caspian Seas to the West and East respectively, and the Caucasus Mountains to the South The Elevation of Stavropol City is about 700 meters and it is located on the Stavropol Height. This very beautiful city has a lot of parks, fountains and gardens. It was founded in 1777 by Prince Grigory Potemkin as one of the fortresses built between Azov and Mozdok towns at the order of Catherine II the Great of Russia. The name "Stavropol" is a Russian rendition of a fictitious Greek name, Stavropolis (historically the name of unrelated archbishop in Caria, a Roman province in the present Anatolia), meaning "The City of the Cross".
From my childhood I had a good opportunity to travel around the country side and climb mountains because Stavropol is located only about 250 kilometers from the Caucasus Mountains. The not-active Mt. Elbrus Volcano (5,.642 m - West Summit and 5,621 m - East Summit), Dombay, Arkhyz, Bezengi Wall, Tien-Shan in the Central Asia, attract my attention as a trekker and a mountain climber during my school and university years.
After two years of the military service , I attended the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) and in July 1987, I graduated from the Department of Oceanography, Faculty of Geography of MSU. In July 1994, I defined a Ph.D. in the Chemical Oceanography from M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University.
During my scientific career I had a chance to travel and to visit remote places around the World . I will not mistake if for myself I will consider the Southern Ocean as the best places I've ever been (South Georgia Island and Kerguelen Island). As a continuation of my scientific education, I was awarded by the two Post Doctoral Research Fellowships in Belgium (Department of Analytical Chemistry, Free University of Brussels) and in France (Laboratory of Marine Microbiology, Luminy University). After immigration to the USA, I have lived in Massachusetts and in North Carolina, but I found my final destination in Hawaii.
Hawaii is a very unique place to live, to have a family and to raise kids. It is my believe that in Hawaii there is a special environment created by the interaction of different nationalities. Asian, Polynesian, European and other cultures can be found here and all of them interact and serve to all people independently from the nationality. When I have visited Hawaii in the first time, I realized almost immediately that HAWAII is my HOME. After unsuccessful attempt to establish my career at the University of Hawaii, I decided to change my profession and dedicate my further life to the real estate. In my work I am trying to help people to realize their dream in finding the best possible properties or investment alternatives which Hawaii has to offer.
My previous scientific experience and my mathematical and statistical backgrounds, helps me in my work to run some numbers analysing different investment opportunities for my clients either buying a $100,000 condo hottel unit or multi-million boutique hotel. As the result, for last few years I developed an interest to the commercial real estate and as a continuation of my education, I finish the Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute required courses (CCIM). I am working now with commercial transactions done for last few years to prepare my portfolio before taken the final exam for this most prestigeous designation in the real estate. The CCIM Institution provides me with wide specter of knowledge in the filed of commercial real estate which I am applying now working with the investors in the residential and commercial markets. I have a strong interest working with the foreign buyers and investors. This interest I developed after taken the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) educational courses. As a holder of the TransNational Referral Certified (TRC) designation, I am also qualified to represent the local or foreign buyers in the International Transactions either purchasing properties in the Europe, Asia, Americas, Middle East or elsewhere else around the World. Currently I am also a CRB Candidate Memeber.
As the Geographer in my heart and by the education, most of my hobbies are connected with the travel and seeing new places. My love to the Geography began from the school time when together with my friends and our Geography teacher (Lyubov Ivanovna Ishkova) we could hike in the country side around Stavropol City and participated in the school's trekker's competitions. We were the first group of the school students in the Satvropol City who organized the first trekker's school club named the "Iskatel" ("The Searcher"). But only after military service I could fully realize my dream to be a professional Geographer after I successfully passed all exams and was admitted as a student to the Geography Department of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University.
I am very happy person because most of my life I could combine my hobbies with my job. The oceanography provided me with a great opportunity to visit different Continents, to see different countries, and to learn more about different cultures. I liked oceanography very much because it provided me with the continuous opportunity to improve myself either working on the different research vessels collecting samples and data or analyzing samples in the laboratory and writing scientific reports and papers. I miss very much this part of my life and who knows maybe in one day I can return to this forgotten part of my life...
The participation in numerous field trips and scientific expeditions are required from the Geographer to have a good health and have some experience with handling of photo- and DVD- cameras. I like very much sport activities including mountains climbing, swimming and exercising in the Gym. I had a chance to climb mountains in the Former Soviet Union and my most favorite type of the mountain activities was the ice climbing. During the student years most of my climbing expeditions were conducted during the winter season and being now in Hawaii, I still remember the sleepless nights in the tent during the cold winter weather at the hight more than 5,500 meters. It was great time and I would rememebr it to the end of my days. It was funniest part of my sport life because it was impossible to buy any climbing's and trekker's equipment and we have to make almost everything by ourself or to exchange with another funs.
I like very much the photography and I have a good collection of pictures taken in the different areas of the Word. Some of my pictures you will find in my Photogallery (sorry, this site is still under construction). I didn't have any equipments to produce a high quality images and most of my cameras were very heavy to carry out in the back pack and of course they couldn't fit in my pocket. But those images taken with friends at different locations and circumstances, probably the most valuable assess for me and for every Geographer.
After moving to Oahu, I like reading books at the beach. I wish to have more time to dedicate to this hobby because my current job takes most of my time and efforts. But I am trying to visit beaches at every possible moment. I like learning more about history and culture of different countries. Last few years I developed an interest to the Chengis Han and to the history in general. I admire Leo Gumilev who despite his very difficult life could remove a lot of white spots in the life of Chenghis Khan and relationship between ancient Mongol and Russion Kingdoms.
I like also reading about culture of different nationalities because it helps me in my work. Hawaii is a very international place to live which attracts investors from over the whole Word. I am continuously improving my knowledge and experience through the communication with my multi-National clients. But I still need to learn more about behavior and culture of invertors from some Asian Countries, like Japan, South Korea and China who at this time, represent significant amount of buyers and/or sellers of our local market.
The discussion about my hobbies will be not completed if I wouldn't mention about my love to the car. The Mercedes Benz is my favorite brand and the Mercedes Benz with an AMG package in particular. I like very much my former C36 AMG which I owned for almost five years. I like the classical shape of this Benz and of course, its performance.
After driving my favorite C36 AMG it was difficult for me to replace this car with another make and after some thoughts I decided to replace it with Mercedes Benz E55 AMG. This car has very different character and it has a few differences from C36: the body is larger, the engine works smoother and it runs faster (276 hp of C36 versus 349 hs of E55). But for sure it is more luxury car with more opportunities for smooth and plesant drive.
